Comments:
- When Louie asked me to
play keys on this project, I accepted because the
rough mixes that Jeff Covert had played for me in
the control room really caught my ear right off
the bat. When I actually sat down at the keys the
day of the session and listened to them while
working up slash charts, I was totally blown away
by several of the tunes, but the one that really
stood out for me was Pain Town... Great lyrics, a
hook that just tugged at your ear and a really
earnest, honest performance by everyone in the
band. My only question is this, "Why isn't
that song a hit on the radio, and why aren't
those royalty checks rolling into the Southern
Persuasion offshore account in the
Caymans?!?!?" Wow, it really is a killer
tune. Seriously, start shopping that tune now!
