Steve Dennis

Steve is a founding member of Southern Persuasion, and has what I believe to be one of the finest singing voices in the area.

Joe Jones

Besides being one of the finest drummers I've ever played with, Joe Jones has written some of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard in my life.

Joe has kept time for The Genuine Virginia Band, Marge Calhoun and the New Heartaches, and Ramblin' Fever.

Joe uses Mapex drums/hardware, the self designed/custom made (Precision Drums) southwestern pattern & white marine pearl drum sets you have seen at our shows, and Gretsch / Drum Workshop / Pearl drums/hardware, Paiste and Zildjian cymbals, and Shure and Audio-Technica microphones. He also uses a Peavey/Behringer/Mackie/JBL/Eminence drum monitor rig nicknamed "Step Mother"

I use Fender, Paul Reed Smith, Epiphone, Ovation, Gibson, Johnson, Kingston, Dwight, Line6, National guitars and steels; Roland GR-30 synth; Furman, AKG, Digitech, Danelectro, Visual Volume, Morley, Sony, Behringer, MXR, and Mesa-Boogie signal processing; NGM Pedal Systems pedalboards; Hohner, Lee Oskar harmonicas and Shure microphones; Line6, Mesa-Boogie, and Fender amplification, Weber & Eminence speakers, tuners, Shure in-ear monitoring, Electro-Voice microphones, and Whirlwind direct boxes; and Anvil, Keal, & SKB Cases and Tuki Covers.
